<p>If you&#8217;re going to build a house make sure the lot you choose is  going to provide the necessary space and conditions for your custom  home. Remember to refer to your zoning department before you make a  purchase on the land you intend to build up on. Ask about restrictions  in that area, and what set backs are required. After you purchase the  land its best to have it surveyed. This should be done prior to staking  out the layout of the house. Getting your new home placement on the lot  exactly how you want it to set is of significant importance in the early  of building. So get some stake markers and stake out your home layout  according to your house plans and make sure your new home is on your lot  according to the county code and laws. At this point you want to  consult your custom <strong>home builder</strong> to go over the dimensions you have  staked out so when it comes time to lay the footings out and set the  foundation for grade it meets the specs of the house plans.</p>
<p>If  everything is a cording to the plans it&#8217;s time to clear the lot and  excavate the foundation. You want your excavator to clear an area of at  least ten to fifteen foot around the construction area. This is for  trucks to get in and out and dropping material off. After the hole is  dug the foundation contractor will come in and lay out the footings.  After the cement footing are framed and poured the basement walls will  most likely be set and poured the following day. So to dig your  foundation and to have your poured walls ready for framing might be  three days. Note that some custom <em>home builders</em> will start building the  floor of the house before it is backfilled. If you wait to build till  the basement is backfilled you may wait a whole week before the concrete  basement is cure up enough to backfill. Otherwise you risk the chance  of the basement wall bowing during the backfill operation.</p>

<p>At this  point your house builder will notify their subcontractors that the  basement is in and to plan on scheduling their rough in work within the  next week. Most likely they are contractors he&#8217;s worked with in the past  and knows they do a good job and will be done on time to meet your  construction schedule. On most new homes building the floor &#8220;hard deck&#8221;  and framing the exterior and interior walls only take approximately  three or four days tops. Most contractors will ordered the trusses off  your house plans the day they set the footings so they would be built  and delivered from the truss company as soon as the walls are completed.  When you build a house you want to have all the material you can  ordered and ready to install because your main objective is to get the  new home framed up and dried in as fast as possible. So from the day I  build the floor I want to have the roof on and shingled within seven  days and the doors, windows and siding installed the following week with  my subcontractors finishing up their rough in preparations. That will  be the septic system, well, heating, electrical and plumbing all roughed  in at this time.</p>
<p>After all my rough in passes inspection I&#8217;m all  set to have the insulation installed and get ready for drywall. Drywall  contractors usually take about a week to ten days on most custom homes  from the time the sheet rock is hung through the primer and paint  finish. When the paint dry&#8217;s the <a href="http://www.singde-gong.org/search/home-construction-schedule">home builder</a> will go in and install  cabinets, interior doors, and do most of the trim work. As the trim work  is being done the subcontractors will finish up their work to have a  final inspection of it. At this point all there is left to do on the  inside is floor installation and finish up the small amount of trim  work. On the outside the finish cement work will be completed like the  sidewalks and the driveway. And then the excavator will put the finish  grade on the top soil. After the final inspection and you receive an  occupancy permit you will be able to move in.</p>
